Terms of Service

Fair terms,
plainly written.

These terms set out the agreement between your studio and Sprintora. We've written them to be clear and even-handed — what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you in return.

Effective 26 September 2026 · DRAFT pending final legal sign-off

Founding cohort free

The first 50 studios join free until 31 March 2027, at any team size, with no payment required.

AI you approve

AI drafts plans, assignments, and insights. Nothing acts on its own — every plan is yours to accept, edit, or ignore.

Your rights protected

Nothing here limits your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the Privacy Act 1988.

Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sprintora, a work-planning and studio operations platform provided by Timothy Huw Cushing, trading as SKIFF, ABN 61 886 215 958 (“Sprintora”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using Sprintora, you agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself and the studio or organisation you represent. If you are entering into these Terms for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of service

Sprintora helps creative, digital, and engineering studios plan their work — bringing time, budgets, and teams into one unified view. We provide work planning, capacity management, and profitability forecasting for studios of roughly 5 to 50 people.

Sprintora uses AI to help you move faster: it drafts work plans, suggests task assignments by skill, and surfaces insights about your studio. AI proposes — you decide. Every AI-generated plan, assignment, or recommendation is yours to accept, edit, or ignore. Nothing is applied to your account until you review and approve it.

Sprintora supports connecting external tools (such as Paymo) so your existing projects, tasks, and time entries can flow into the service. You control what is connected and can disconnect at any time.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Sprintora.

  • You are responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your account details accurate and up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • An account administrator may invite, manage, and remove team members. Administrators are responsible for the conduct of users they invite.
  • Notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

Founding cohort

The first 50 studios to join are free until 31 March 2027, at any team size, with no payment required.

As a thank-you to our earliest studios, the first 50 studios to sign up join our founding cohort. Founding studios receive Sprintora on these terms:

  • Free access to the full Sprintora feature set until 31 March 2027
  • Any team size
  • No credit card and no payment required during the free period
  • From 1 April 2027, A$12 per planned person per month, locked for as long as the studio stays subscribed

We may close the founding cohort once 50 studios have joined; this does not affect the terms of studios already in the cohort.

Paid plans & billing

Studios beyond the founding cohort use a paid plan. Founding studios move to their locked founding price from 1 April 2027.

  • Price — A$15 per planned person per month (A$12 billed annually). Prices are in Australian dollars and exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Planned person — someone you schedule work for in Sprintora. Logins for people who only view or approve are free and unlimited.
  • Billing method — paid plans will be billed through Stripe, our payment provider.

Paid billing is coming online. Until it is available, no payment is taken and no Stripe charges are processed. When billing goes live, we will make the plan details, billing cycle, and any taxes clear before you confirm a paid subscription, and we will give you advance notice of any future price changes.

Acceptable use

We ask that you use Sprintora lawfully and considerately. You agree not to:

  • Use the service in breach of any applicable law or regulation
  • Upload or transmit content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service except as permitted by law
  • Use the service to build a competing product or to scrape data at scale

You remain responsible for ensuring your team members use Sprintora in line with these Terms.

Customer data & privacy

Your project data, time entries, team information, and financials belong to your studio. We process this data solely to provide and improve the service for you, and we never use it to train any AI model.

Our handling of personal information is described in detail in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. It explains what we collect, where it is stored, who we work with, and your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any personal information about your team or clients that you enter into or sync with Sprintora.

Intellectual property

Our intellectual property

Sprintora, including the software, design, branding, and all related intellectual property, is owned by us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service in accordance with these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

Your content

You retain ownership of the data and content you put into Sprintora. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that content for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Feedback

If you share ideas or suggestions about Sprintora, you allow us to use that feedback to improve the service without obligation to you.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content in Sprintora infringes your copyright, email support@sprintora.com with the subject line “Copyright complaint”. Include the work you say is infringed, where the content appears, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised. We will review every notice and remove infringing content where appropriate.

Third-party services

Sprintora integrates with third-party services such as Paymo so you can bring your existing projects, tasks, and time entries into the service. Your use of Paymo is governed by Paymo's own terms and privacy policy — we are not responsible for third-party services or for changes they make to their platforms or APIs.

You are responsible for maintaining your own account and credentials with any connected service, and for ensuring you have the right to connect that service to Sprintora.

Service availability & disclaimers

We work hard to keep Sprintora available and reliable, and we make reasonable efforts to minimise downtime. From time to time we may carry out maintenance, updates, or improvements that temporarily affect availability.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. AI-generated drafts, assignments, and insights are suggestions to support your decisions — you are responsible for reviewing and approving them before relying on them.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

Our liability to you is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable consumer guarantees.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, and to the extent our liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited (at our option) to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having the service re-supplied. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Suspension & termination

You can stop using Sprintora and close your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, use the service unlawfully, or create a security or stability risk to the service or other users. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give you notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first.

On account closure, we will handle your data in line with the retention periods set out in our Privacy Policy. You may request an export of your data before closing your account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the service evolves or as our legal obligations change. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where the changes significantly affect your rights, notify you by email or in-app.

Continued use of Sprintora after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the service and close your account.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and Sprintora submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.

Nothing in this section affects any non-excludable rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws.
